What MoveQuest is
MoveQuest (move-quest.com), operated by Checkpoint Solutions Inc [to be confirmed], passes moving requests to licensed moving companies, who may contact you with quotes. MoveQuest is not a moving company or a moving broker. It does not quote prices, give estimates, book moves, take deposits or collect payments, and it is not a party to any agreement between you and a mover.
After a moving request, you can ask for a car-shipping quote from Route Runners Logistics Inc. (Route Runners Auto Transport). Any car-shipping price shown is Route Runners' price, not MoveQuest's, and any car-shipping agreement is between you and Route Runners.
Using the site
- You must be 18 or older to send a request.
- Send only information about yourself and a move you are planning, and make it accurate.
- Do not send automated or fraudulent requests, or interfere with the site.
Movers are independent
Each moving company is an independent business responsible for its own quotes, services, licensing and conduct. MoveQuest does not guarantee any mover's price, availability or work. Check a mover's registration on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's company database before you hire it.
Information on the site
Guides and figures are for general information. Figures from outside sources name their source. They are not quotes and not advice for your particular move.
Limits of liability
The site is provided as is. MoveQuest is not responsible for anything a moving company does or fails to do; your agreement for the move is with the mover you choose. MoveQuest's liability for your use of the site is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date.
